Elective Rotation Opportunities
Elective Rotation opportunities are available for medical students and current Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residents interested in learning about care of older adults. Rotations provide a broad range of exposure to care of older adults in a variety of settings including the inpatient Geriatric Consult Service, outpatient primary care and specialty geriatrics, post-acute and long-term care, and home visits. Specific opportunities can be tailored to interests of the learner.
Housing and transportation not provided. Transportation is needed as various locations are not within walking distance.
If interested in rotating with the LGH Geriatric Medicine Fellowship, please review the required documentation list and submit the application form. Note time required if training affiliation not in place or requiring new Pennsylvania training license.
Applications will be reviewed and approved by geriatric fellowship leadership. Once approval is granted, the LGH Academic Affairs office will solicit the required documentation for processing.
